Questions
Wedding Day Timeline Builder: common questions
What does the wedding day timeline builder include?
It builds a running order from your ceremony time through the drinks reception and photographs, wedding breakfast, speeches, cake cutting, room turnaround and evening guests arriving, first dance, evening buffet, dancing and the last song. Each part has a sensible default length in minutes, which you can change before building the timeline.
How do I share the timeline with my suppliers?
Use Copy my timeline to paste it into an email or message, or Print / Save as PDF to make a file you can send to your venue, photographer and caterer. Send this to Tim opens a draft email to Mobile Disco Network in your own email app, ready to check before you send it.
Is my timeline saved or sent automatically?
No. Your ceremony time and adjusted durations are used inside your browser to build the timeline, and nothing is saved to your device's storage or sent to a server. Send this to Tim only opens a draft in your own email app, addressed to info@mobiledisconetwork.com, and nothing is sent unless you press send yourself.
How long does a wedding drinks reception usually last?
The default here is 90 minutes, which gives time for formal photos while guests mingle. Some couples keep it shorter to stop guests getting hungry, especially after an early ceremony. If you have a long list of group photos or the venue needs time to set up the room, allow a little longer and plan some light food.
Tim’s tip
Share the same timeline with every supplier a week or two before the day, so the venue, photographer, caterer and DJ are all working to one version. Build in a little slack, as speeches almost always run over.
Rather not keep everyone on time yourself?
