Unlike the DJ set, the Selfie Pod doesn't follow a strict running order. Guests dip in and out all night. Here's the general shape of how it works.
1 Arrival & setup
Tim arrives under the Early Arrival Guarantee and builds the Selfie Pod with your chosen backdrop and props. He tests the touchscreen, lighting and instant sharing before your first guest walks in.
2 First guests start using it as they arrive
Early arrivals are usually first to try it out, which makes a great icebreaker while everyone else turns up. Photos, GIFs and boomerangs go straight to their phones as they go.
3 Peak usage as the party gets going
This is when the Pod sees the most action: groups of friends and family photos. The more the drinks flow, the more the props come out. With no printers, no queue builds up while everyone waits for a photo. It's easy for guests to keep grabbing their turn. This is usually the busiest stretch of the night.
4 Quieter spell during food or speeches
The Pod stays live throughout. Use naturally drops off while everyone's seated for food or listening to speeches and toasts.
5 One last push before pack-down
There's usually a final rush of guests wanting one last photo before the night winds down. Tim packs the Pod away quietly at the end, without disrupting the last of the dancing.
There's no fixed schedule for the Pod itself. It's there whenever your guests want it, from arrival to the final song.

Do your photo booths print physical photos?
No, our Selfie Pods are entirely digital. Every photo, GIF, boomerang and video goes instantly to your phone, or straight to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or email. There's no queue for a printer and no risk of a strip getting left behind at the venue.
What happens if the booth needs to be outdoors and the weather turns bad?
The Selfie Pod can be set up outdoors with suitable weather and a nearby power source. For guaranteed reliability, it works best undercover: a marquee, gazebo or indoor space. Let us know your setup in advance and we'll advise what's needed.
How many photos can guests take during the session?
As many as they like throughout your booking, with no per-person limit. Guests can jump back in for a group shot, a solo pose or a GIF as often as they want.
How many people can fit in a photo at once?
The Selfie Pod is designed for small groups as well as solo shots. There's plenty of room for a handful of guests to squeeze in together for a group photo.
