Children's Parties, Schools & Proms Across East Anglia
Mobile Disco Network offers children's discos and parties for schools, proms and private hires across East Anglia. Parties typically last around 2 hours, with a food or drink break in the middle. The format suits groups from around 10 to 300 children. The children are there to party and have fun with their friends. Tim works alongside teachers and parents, with everything tailored to the schedule of the event.
For younger children (ages 3-7), the games help them learn colours, animals, objects, left & right, and dancing with a partner. Tim doesn't involve parents unless asked, so they can relax and enjoy the show. If parents want to join in, they're very welcome. We can also provide special effects such as confetti, bubbles, haze and snow machines.
School Discos & School Proms
Our school discos and proms are more popular than ever. End of term disco, high school prom, leavers party, graduation ball or college function: we tailor a package to suit you and every age group. Tim brings 50 years of DJ experience to school and student events across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Suffolk.
To make your prom extra special, we can provide small or large light shows with top sound quality. Special effects include snow, confetti and haze. We also supply a phone-based touch-screen request system (Wi-Fi permitting) and radio microphones for speeches. Sadly, Tim gets calls for help every week from families let down by unchecked entertainers. He always tries to help as much as he can.
Tip: keep a children's party in the morning (10am-12pm) or early afternoon (1-3pm). It won't run into early evening show times, which helps you save on your budget.
Your Party, Start To Finish
A typical 2-hour children's party runs like this — the same tried-and-tested structure Tim uses every time.
1 Setup
Tim arrives and sets everything up before a single child walks in. It's ready to go the moment the party starts.
2 Children arrive
A warm welcome as everyone settles in and gets comfortable before the fun begins.
3 First set — 45-50 minutes of games
Interactive party fun and games, tailored to the age group, to get everyone laughing and joining in.
4 20-minute break, cake & song
A breather for drinks or party food, including the birthday cake and a happy birthday song for the birthday child.
5 Second set — 45-50 minutes
Straight back into the fun for the second half, keeping the energy and excitement going right through to the end.
6 The show ends — a safe, calm finish
Children sit together in a circle and wait until their parent or carer collects them. Nobody leaves the hall unaccompanied. Depending on the party, children either wait to be collected one by one or line up for their party bags together. Every child is accounted for until they're safely back with a parent.

I run every children's party myself, from the setup before the first child arrives to making sure everyone is collected safely. Parents can relax or join in, whichever they prefer. My DBS, insurance and PAT paperwork are all in your online portal, so a school office or venue can check them without chasing me. I've been a DJ since 1976. If you've got a child who's sensitive to lights or noise, just tell me and I'll set the disco up to suit.
