Questions
Wedding Ceremony Music Finder: common questions
How long does it take to walk down the aisle?
About a minute for most venues. Choose the part of the song you want to walk in on, and your DJ can start it there and fade it gently when you reach the front.
Can we have religious music at a civil ceremony?
Not in England and Wales. Civil ceremonies can't include religious music or readings, so hymns and pieces such as Ave Maria are left out when you choose civil ceremony. Check your final choices with your registrar.
How many songs do we need for signing the register?
Two or three. Signing usually takes five to ten minutes, so one song often runs out before you've finished.
Is my list saved?
It saves in this browser only. Nothing is sent to Mobile Disco Network unless you choose to email it.
Tim’s tip
Send your DJ your ceremony songs, and the exact point you want each one to start, a few weeks before the day. Then the music matches every moment without anyone needing to think about it on the day.
