Press & Media Questions

Is this press coverage independently verified, or paid placement?

Written by the papers themselves, not paid adverts. Every article linked on this page goes to the paper's own website. Read the source for yourself rather than take our word for it.

Why does the NADJ article mention "22 Awards" when the site says 23?

That article came out in June 2026, when the count stood at 22. One more award has been added since, so the site now says 23. The article's title is left as it was, since it's a true record of what was printed at the time.

Can I republish or link to this coverage?

You are very welcome to link to any article on this page. Reprinting the articles themselves is up to the paper that wrote them, since they own the copyright.

How do I get in touch for a press enquiry or interview?

Email info@mobiledisconetwork.com or call 01760 722283 — Tim answers press and media questions himself.

Using This Page for a Story or Feature

Writing a news piece, profile or local story? This page puts the published coverage and the facts you can check together in one place.

Work from the original articles

Each item of coverage links to the publisher's own website. Take quotes and details from the article as printed, not from a summary. Credit the paper you are quoting from, and note its date with the quote. You are welcome to link to any of the articles. Reprinting an article in full is up to the title that holds the copyright, so contact it first. Trade body and council records are linked on their own for background.

Check the date behind each figure

The coverage runs from September 2024 to September 2026, and some figures have moved on since. The 2024 profiles describe 48 years as a DJ. The June 2026 NADJ feature refers to 22 awards, while the awards page now lists 23. Before quoting a number, check the current figure on this site and say where it came from. Using the figure from the first article is fine if you make clear it was true at the time.

Keep the career and business dates separate

Tim Daymond has been a DJ since 1976, trading under several names over the years. Mobile Disco Network is the business he founded in 2013 and runs as a sole trader. The 50-year milestone refers to his own DJ career, not the age of the business. Calling Mobile Disco Network 50 years old would be wrong. For a short summary, the panel near the top of this page gives his role, area and memberships in a few lines.

Verify credentials at source

Each licence and membership detail on this page can be checked with the body that holds it. Check the Norfolk Trusted Trader listing using the ID shown. The NADJ directory lists current members. The Watton Christmas Light Festival support is recorded in published Watton Town Council minutes. Checking these yourself means your piece rests on each body's own record. For a recent angle, the Wayland Chamber's September 2026 newsletter covered the launch of Sensory-Friendly Disco Mode.

I'm grateful to every paper that covered my 50 years as a DJ. Everything on this page links to the first article, so you can read it just as it was printed. Writing about me? You'll get me, not a press office. Just remember Mobile Disco Network started in 2013; my DJ career goes back to 1976.
