Party photo shot list for social media

Hand this party photo shot list to a friend. The moments worth grabbing on camera, so nothing gets missed while you're busy enjoying the party. Tick them off as you capture them, or hand the list to a friend.

5 categories, 23 shots Tick off as you go Free, no sign-up

Your shot list

Give this to a friend or family member who isn't glued to the dancefloor all night — they'll thank you for the direction.

It's easy for the best bits of a party to fly by unrecorded while the host is busy hosting. Handing this list to one designated friend, or checking it yourself between songs, means the arrivals, the cake, the first dance or big entrance and the last-song singalong all get captured properly — not just whatever happened to be in shot when someone remembered their phone.

Tim’s tip

Ask one friend to be in charge of photos for the key moments and tell them roughly when the cake, speeches and last song will be. Your DJ can also announce those moments so they are ready.

Common questions

Who should use this list?

It works best handed to one friend or family member who's happy to keep half an eye on their phone during the party — or you can glance at it yourself between the busier moments. It's not meant for a professional photographer, though it's a handy prompt list for one too.

Does my progress save if I close the page?

No — ticks aren't saved automatically, so they'll be gone if you close the tab or reload. Use "Copy shot list" or "Print" beforehand if you want a copy to keep or hand to someone else on the night.

Can I edit the list?

The list itself is fixed, but nothing stops you treating it as a starting point — tick off what applies, ignore what doesn't, and add your own must-have shots on a printed copy or in the email draft.
