Questions

Supplier Payment Tracker: common questions

What is the supplier payment tracker for?

It is for couples who have booked several wedding suppliers and want to keep on top of deposits and balances. Add each supplier with their total cost, what you have paid and when the balance is due. The overview shows the total cost, amount paid, amount still owed and how many balances fall due in the next 30 days.

How should I use it to avoid missed payments?

Add each supplier as soon as you pay a deposit, and update the paid amount after every payment. The list sorts itself with the soonest due date first, so checking it once a month shows what is coming up. Copy or print the tracker if you want to share it with a partner or whoever is helping with the budget.

Where is my payment information saved?

The tracker is saved automatically in your browser's local storage on this device, including the DJ booking amounts and every supplier you add. Nothing is sent to Mobile Disco Network or any other server, so it will not appear on another device. Clear everything deletes it, and Email this draft to myself only opens a draft in your own email app.

When are wedding supplier balances usually due?

It varies by supplier, so always check each contract. Many ask for the balance a few weeks before the wedding, while venues and caterers may want it earlier, and some suppliers take payment on the day. Note each due date as soon as you book, and set a reminder about a week before each one.

Tim’s tip

Keep every supplier contract and receipt in one folder, paper or digital, alongside your record of wedding supplier payments. If there is ever a question about what has been paid, you will have the answer in seconds.
