Where Do You Cover?

Mobile Disco Network provides DJ entertainment across four counties: Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. That includes Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Peterborough, King's Lynn, and the towns and venues around them.

How Does The Live QR Code Guest Request System Work?

Our popular interactive packages show a secure QR code for your guests. Scan the code and enter your name, the artist and song title, and any dedication or message. It's sent straight to Tim's touch-screen console in real time. Tim's DJ software has a built-in profanity filter that cuts swearing from tracks, not just requests. Even chart hits stay family-friendly. Prefer to message ahead of the day? You can also send requests via WhatsApp before your event.

Are You Insured, Vetted, And DBS Checked?

Yes, across the board. Mobile Disco Network carries £10 million Public Liability Insurance (PLI), and all equipment has annual Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). Tim holds an Enhanced DBS check and is Norfolk's only Trading Standards Approved DJ. Every booking has a formal written contract. Certificates for all of these download instantly from your client portal, ready for your venue coordinator or event organiser.

How Do I Secure My Date And Make Payments?

Check live date availability on the website and book online. Pay securely via Stripe, debit/credit card or BACS transfer. Interest-free monthly instalment plans can spread the cost. Once you're booked, your client portal gives you instant access to PLI and PAT certificates and professional invoices with receipts. You can also submit your playlist there. See how the full enquiry-to-booking process works.

Will Tim Really Be There On The Day?

Yes. Tim personally performs every booking, and he has never missed one. No agency substitutes or subcontracted DJs are ever sent in his place.

What to Have Ready When You Ask for Help

Most questions can be answered in one reply if a few details come with them. Here's what's worth gathering before you call, send a message or fill in the form.

The basics of your event

Have your date, the venue name and town, and rough start and finish times to hand, even if some are provisional. Add a rough guest count and the age mix. A room of grandparents and young children needs a different approach from a twenty-first. If the date isn't fixed yet, give two or three options. Mention anything unusual early, such as an outdoor setting, a surprise party or a very tight setup window. These affect what can be offered.

What your venue needs to see

Many venues ask suppliers for proof of public liability insurance and electrical testing. Some have their own rules on access times, sound limiters or curfews. Ask your venue coordinator for any supplier guidelines and pass them on when you book. Find out where the entertainment sets up, how far that is from parking, and whether there are stairs or a lift. Knowing this in advance avoids a rushed conversation on the day, and the paperwork can be shared ahead of time.

Music and requests

You don't need a full playlist straight away. It helps to know a few must-play songs and anything you definitely want avoided. If there are first dances, special announcements or a surprise moment planned, note the timing. Think about who might want to request songs on the night, and who'd rather send theirs beforehand. If the event is family-friendly, say so. Then music choices and edits can be planned with that in mind.

Picking the quickest way to ask

For a general question, the FAQ knowledge base may answer it straight away. For something specific to your date, a phone call or voice message is often fastest. It lets you explain the details in your own words. Already booked? Log in to your account for documents, invoices and playlist forms rather than waiting for an email. If you use assistive technology, the screen-reader friendly form on this page works with a keyboard and screen reader.
