Questions
Guest List & RSVP Tracker: common questions
What does the guest list and RSVP tracker do?
It keeps your whole wedding guest list in one place. For each guest you record which side they are from, whether they are invited to the day and evening or just one part, their RSVP, any plus-one and dietary needs. The numbers at the top show confirmed day and evening guests, total invited and how many are still to reply.
How do I share the list with my caterer or venue?
The Dietary needs summary lists everyone attending who has a dietary note, ready to pass on. Use Copy guest list to paste the list into an email or document, Print for a paper copy, or Email this draft to myself to open a draft in your own email app that you can forward to suppliers.
Where is my guest list saved?
Your list is saved automatically in your browser's local storage on this device. It is not sent to Mobile Disco Network or any server, so it will not appear on another phone or computer, and clearing your browser data will remove it. Clear everything deletes the saved list. Keep a copied or printed version as a backup.
When should RSVPs be due for a wedding?
Many couples set an RSVP date six to eight weeks before the wedding. That leaves time to chase anyone who has not replied and still give final numbers to the venue and caterer, who often need them two to four weeks ahead. Check your suppliers' deadlines first and work back from the earliest one.
Tim’s tip
Give your venue and caterer one final headcount on an agreed date, and keep a separate evening number. The evening figure matters for the buffet and bar as much as the day count does for the meal.
