Photo booth FAQ and party extras
This photo booth FAQ covers the Vintage Selfie Pod, how guests get their photos, set-up, bundles and Boogie Bingo.
Tim’s tip: Put the photo booth near the dance floor, not in a separate room. Guests drift between the two, and you get far more photos.

Photo Booths & Extras: your questions
What photo booths do you offer?
Tim's Vintage Selfie Pod comes with an animated welcome screen, unlimited photos, GIFs and videos, and instant sharing.
The VIP Red Carpet set-up adds gold posts and velvet ropes, and a ring light booth is available too. See the Photo Booths page for each package.
How do guests get their photos?
Instantly.
Guests can scan a QR code on the screen, AirDrop to an iPhone, share straight to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or X, or send the files to their email or phone. They can take photos, GIFs, boomerangs and 30-second video messages. After the event, you get a link to a gallery of everything taken on the night.
Do your photo booths print photos?
No.
Everything is digital, so there are no queues at a printer and guests get their photos on their phones straight away. You also get the full gallery after the event.
How long does the photo booth take to set up, and is someone there to run it?
A photo booth takes about an hour to set up and an hour to pack away, or two hours each way when it's booked with the disco.
If you hire the photo booth on its own, a friendly attendant stays with it all night. With a disco-and-booth package, Tim looks after both.
Is it cheaper to book a photo booth with the disco?
Yes.
The bundles combine both for less than booking them separately, for example the Signature Evening & Selfie Pod wedding package or the VIP Birthday Bundle. If you've already booked a disco, your client portal shows the photo booth at client prices.
What fun ideas work in the photo booth?
Give guests a prop box, a few themed signs and some challenges: recreate a famous album cover, pull your best surprised face, or pose as the couple.
The free Photo Booth Pose Wheel spins up a new pose for each group.
Do your photo booths print physical photos?

How many people can fit in a photo at once?
