Booking & Availability: your questions
How do I check if Tim is free on my date?
Use the availability checker at mobiledisconetwork.com/check-availability.
Enter your date, email and type of event, and you'll see straight away if Tim is free. If he is, your packages and prices show on screen. If the date is taken, call Tim and he'll help you look at other dates or timings.
How far in advance should I book a DJ?
For summer Saturdays, bank holidays and December parties, book 12 to 18 months ahead.
Weekday weddings and off-peak Sundays usually need 6 to 12 months. Midweek events and January to March dates can often be booked at short notice. Popular dates often go more than a year ahead, so check yours early.
Is checking availability free?
Yes.
Checking your date is free and you're under no obligation to book. You'll see packages and prices straight away, and nobody will call to chase you. Your date isn't held until you pay a deposit and sign your contract, so it stays open to other enquiries until then.
Can I check more than one date?
Yes, and many couples check two or three dates before booking their venue.
It helps you compare weekday and weekend prices and choose the date that suits your venue best.
What happens after I send an availability request?
You can book straight away: pick your package, add any extras, pay your deposit securely through Stripe, and your client portal login arrives within seconds.
Or Tim can email you a tailored proposal with a full price breakdown, which you can turn into a booking with one click. Proposals usually arrive within 2 to 3 hours in business hours, or the next morning if you enquire in the evening or at the weekend. If your event is in the next 48 hours, call Tim on 07796 565918 instead.
Is my date held while I decide?
No.
Quotes are live, so another client could book the same date later that day. Your date is only secured once your deposit is paid and your contract is signed.
What should I have ready when I call about a last-minute booking?
Your venue's postcode and roughly how many guests you're expecting.
That tells Tim which equipment to load. He'll then guide you through the online booking while you're on the phone.
Which dates are easiest to book at short notice?
Saturdays usually book up months ahead.
Midweek corporate events and shop promotions, Sunday children's parties and celebrations of life are often easier to fit in at short notice. January to March is the quietest time of year.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates, especially weekends and the summer and Christmas seasons, can book up months in advance.
I'd recommend enquiring as soon as you have a date in mind to check availability, even if your event is still a while away.
Can I book instantly online, or do I need to speak to someone first?
