Design your place cards and favour tags
Work down the steps on the left — the preview updates live on the right. Place cards are tent cards: they print flat, fold in the middle and stand on the table. Favour tags are small hanging tags with a hole to punch for ribbon or twine.

Questions
Place Card Maker: common questions
What can I make with the place card maker?
You can make folded place cards that stand like a tent on the table, small hanging favour tags, or both in a matching design. Paste your list with table numbers, such as Sarah Johnson, 3, or let the tool seat guests who have no table number. It suits weddings, formal dinners and any seated meal.
How do I print, fold and finish the cards?
Download the print-ready PDF and print at Actual size or 100%, ideally on 200 to 250 gsm card. Cut along the grey lines, then fold each place card on the dotted line. Punch the marked circle on each favour tag with a single-hole punch and thread ribbon or twine through it.
Is my guest list uploaded anywhere?
No. The cards are made in your browser, and the PDF, ZIP and JPG files are created on your own device. The page does not send your guest names or table numbers to any server and does not save them, so keep your list in a spreadsheet and download the PDF before closing the tab.
When should place cards be finalised?
Leave them until your final numbers and seating plan are confirmed, usually a week or two before the day, as late changes are common. Because the list can be pasted straight from a spreadsheet, it is quick to reprint a few cards. Order the cards by table so whoever sets up the room can work table by table.
Tim’s tip
Box the place cards by table number and hand them to the venue team with a copy of the seating plan. Setting up is then quick, and the couple are not sorting cards on the morning of the wedding.
