Questions
Hero Mask Maker: common questions
Who are the party masks for?
They are designed for children's parties, with sizes for little ones of about 3 to 6, kids of about 7 to 12, and grown-ups. There are 30 original designs across superheroes, animals and fantasy characters. The colour-in version doubles as a party activity, while full colour is ready to wear straight away.
How do I print and make up the masks?
Print the PDF on A4 at Actual size / 100%, ideally on thin card of 160 to 250 gsm. A grown-up should cut out the masks and eye holes, making the eye holes a little bigger if needed. Attach soft round elastic, or tape a lolly stick to the side, and use no elastic for under-3s.
Are the children's names saved or sent anywhere?
No. Any names you type are only used in your browser to print on the masks in the PDF. The page does not store them for later and does not send them to Mobile Disco Network or anyone else. Close the page and they are gone, so download the PDF first if you need it again.
How many masks should I print for a party?
Print one for every child on the guest list and a few spares, as masks get torn and siblings sometimes come along. If you are using the colour-in version as an activity, set out crayons or felt tips on a table and allow time for colouring before any games that need the masks.
Tim’s tip
Hand masks out at the start of the party rather than mid-way, so children can wear them for the games and dancing and are not queuing for scissors later on.
