Questions
Cupcake Topper & Food Flag Maker: common questions
What can I make with this tool?
You can make round or scalloped cupcake toppers with names, ages, initials or short messages, and small flags for cocktail sticks to label buffet dishes. Starting ideas cover birthdays, weddings, baby showers, Christmas and buffet food names, and you can type a small second line using a forward slash.
How do I print and assemble the toppers?
Download the print-ready PDF and print on A4 at actual size. Toppers come in 40, 50 or 60 mm sizes, and food flags in standard or large. Cut them out and fix them to cocktail sticks. Tick the option to print in pairs if you want to glue two together so they look right from both sides.
Does the tool keep the words I type?
No. Your words and design choices are used in your browser to draw the print sheet and build the PDF. The page does not save them for later or send them to Mobile Disco Network or anyone else. Download your PDF before closing the page if you want to print more copies another day.
What should I put on food flags for a buffet?
Short dish names work best, such as Veggie, Chicken or Vegan. It is also worth labelling anything containing common allergens, for example Contains nuts, so guests can choose safely without asking. Keep each flag to one or two words so the lettering stays large enough to read from a step away.
Tim’s tip
Put the buffet somewhere guests can reach without crossing the dance floor, and away from the speakers, so people can chat while they queue for food.
