Now Gemini writes meeting notes and action items as soon as the call ends. Still, I check every note against my own memory, because transcripts aren’t perfect.

Gemini in Docs helps with short documents, like a one-page event summary. For long, rule-heavy blog briefs, I still prefer Claude.

In Drive, I can ask questions across my files. For instance, which venue contracts mention a sound limiter? Gemini answers from the actual documents.

NotebookLM goes further. I upload a season’s venue contracts and ask questions only from those files. However, it summarises clauses; it doesn’t give legal advice.

ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini: Which and When?

I use all three, for different jobs:

• ChatGPT: quick social posts and short drafts.
• Claude: long, structured documents and blog briefs.
• Gemini: anything inside Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs or Drive.

So my morning starts in Gmail with Gemini, and my client planning calls run on Meet with automatic notes.

• The full features need a paid Workspace plan.
• The standalone website is weaker than ChatGPT or Claude for complex writing.
• Meet transcripts are good but not perfect, so always review them.
• NotebookLM needs your sources uploaded for each project.
